Cupitt’s Winery is an oasis of food and beverage in the hinterland of Milton-Ulladulla. It produces award-winning wines, artisan cheeses, craft beer and Angus beef. All these things can be found on the menu at the restaurant, accompanied by fresh produce plucked straight from the kitchen garden.
Chief winemaker, restaurateur and fromagère Rosie Cupitt is a driven food lover with a strong sense of how her produce connects to the restaurant and the landscape of the South Coast. “It’s a great advantage being here on the coast – the summer nor’easter in the afternoon dries out the moisture on the vines, which improves our wines, particularly the Semillon. We’re conscious that our wines are on the restaurant’s list, and that they should pair well with the beautiful oysters and fish that this area is known for. The South Coast also has such wonderful dairies, so we use Tilba Jersey milk and local goat’s milk for all our cheeses,” she explains.
Rosie, along with her team and products at Cupitt’s, embody the boundless possibilities of South Coast food and produce – providing a truly unique food and wine experience.
